I’m new to e-drums (Alesis drums) and looking for an amp or powered PA speaker to use for my e-drums. I’ve read that it‘s better to use powered PA speaker instead of an amp for this purpose, what do you think? Do you have any recommendations for which one to get?

I’m a beginner in music production and looking for sounds to incorporate in my sample pad drum Kits. Is there a website that people can get free .wav samples from? You can correct me if my terminology is wrong - still learning. Thanks!
