Go5plus to Experience Beyond

Currently on Go5G Plus with 6 lines and inside discount and thinking about moving to Experience Beyond. Main reason is I’m sick of the 2-year upgrade cycle and like the idea of annual upgrades.

T-Force told me I couldn’t move to Go5G Next, so now I’m looking at Beyond instead.

Trying to understand how the yearly trade-in process actually works in the real world. Most of my family probably only wants new phones every 2 years, so my thought was I’d use the annual Apple upgrade eligibility on the lines that don’t care and just sell the newer phones privately.

Am I missing any downside to this strategy?

Also curious:

  • how much do taxes/fees realistically fluctuate over time?
  • does T-Mobile tend to increase fees often?
  • any catches with the yearly upgrade/trade-in values?
  • do people think the BOGO/trade-in promos will be better on Beyond moving forward vs Go5G Plus?
  • any reason staying on Go5G Plus would make more sense?

Would appreciate hearing from people actually doing this with multiple lines.

Pontoon rental in Porto Cima

Pier at the rental

Heading to Lake of the Ozarks this summer and staying in Porto Cima. Looking to rent ideally a 15 passenger pontoon/tritoon from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon that allows overnight docking at our rental house. We’re slightly tucked in off the main channel, but I’m curious how concerned we should be about overnight damage from wakes/weather if the boat is tied up overnight.

If a true 15 passenger setup is tough to find, we’d also consider a 12-13 passenger pontoon plus a jet ski.

Main priorities are:

  • close/easy to Porto Cima
  • good pricing
  • reliable boats
  • easy overnight setup

Any rental companies or peer-to-peer options you’d recommend (or avoid)?
