[QC] VC Overseas Ultra-Thin 2000V

  1. Dealer name: Jtime

  2. Factory name: XF

  3. Model name (& version number): Overseas Ultra-Thin 2000V

  4. Price Paid: $418

  5. Album Links: https://mega.nz/folder/eAQjwTTR#4aLTMUfOBl1lhwmjpWUr7A

  6. Index alignment: looks good but finishing on indexes (chamfering) does not look like gen

  7. Dial Printing: lettering is good. Numbers around the indexes look dim but that may be the lighting

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: n/a

  9. Hand Alignment: looks good

  10. Bezel: corners look pretty rounded

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): looks ok, but tough to evaluate

  12. Timegrapher numbers: outstanding

  13. Anything else you notice: I have not been able to find a gen version of this watch with a dial finish that even looks similar. Even old qc posts of this model seem to have a grey cast and a textured radial pattern. The dial of my watch looks very uniform and gloss, almost like lacquer. The cross appliqué on the dial is also solid, unlike gen which as far as I can tell is a hollow cross.

I would appreciate any insight from those more experienced since the Timegrapher numbers look amazing and I don’t want to RL. I know it is a rep, but I was between the brown overseas 4500V and this watch, and I’m starting to feel like maybe I made the wrong choice if the ultra-thin deviates so much from gen.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes a look and gives some input!
