1 day after my FUE hair transplant to cover facelift scars

I had my FUE hair transplant yesterday with Dr. Kim at New Hair Hair Transplant Clinic and wanted to share my experience since Reddit has helped me a lot going through my own journey. Note that I received a small discount for my review but all opinions are my own.

I mainly did this to cover facelift scars where my hair never grew back, which always made me self-conscious, especially when tucking my hair behind my ears. I had done countless lasers, microneedling, and peels but hated how my scars looked in certain lighting. I also lost some hair from the facelift that never grew back and wanted to restore it.

I consulted a few places and one thing that stood out is I never felt pressured to add a ton of extra grafts. I even asked Dr. Kim a few times if he was sure I didn’t need more grafts based on other quotes I received. Other clinics tried to upsell me by 5x the amount of grafts I ended up getting, but Dr. Kim focused on what would actually look natural for me.

The numbing injections were the only uncomfortable part but I also get migraines so I’m already extra sensitive. Otherwise the procedure was easy, everyone made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. I am excited about final results and no longer being worried about hiding my scars in public and can’t wait to see the results in the next few months.
