First time on track. Day 1 solo vs Day 3 with a PCA instructor at Chuckwalla.
I wanted to share my recent track experience with my local PCA. To show how amazing it can be, and you don't really need to build a race car for it. I drove 3+ hrs in my stock 911 with street tires, then did at least 100 laps over 3 days on the same tires before driving back home for another 3+ hrs. PCA events are much safer and not to mention you get amazing instructors.
This was my first ever track day with my car. Day 1 was an open track day (lap lab) offered by Chuckwalla a day before the 2-day HPDE event. I got at least 50-60 laps that day on my street tires. Day 2/3 was the HPDE event hosted by PCA SDR,

Day 1 was solo vs Day 3 with a PCA instructor.
comparing Day 3 with Day 1, it was much smoother, I was in sync with the car instead of fighting it. My line was much better, which allowed me to accelerate sooner. Made a few mistakes that cost me time and yet I still set a new PR without even pushing my limits. Not to mention having a great instructor right next to me.
