Looking for a non aramid fiber ultra thin case with an open plateau. Want something grippy. I've owned a totallee and it felt slippery, anyone have experience with the torras slim?
I prefer a silicone rubbery feel for grip, and the totallee was hard and slippery. Is the torras slim any better?
I see so many expensive cases that don't cover the camera plateau, including ones from Apple themselves.
Is it simply unnecessary to cover it for the vast majority of real world drops? i have to admit with all the ‘I dropped my phone with a case and it still got damaged’ posts I see, i never see damage to the plateau and very rarely the camera lenses. But it always feels so exposed to me when I use a case that doesn't cover it.
Has anyone dropped their phone with one of these cases and it ended in some nasty damage that would have been prevented had the plateau been covered? What about scratches? Is the flat portion of the plateau more scratch and dent resistant?
