Hey all, hoping someone can help me figure this out. Yesterday I swapped my AMD Ryzen 3 3100 for a Ryzen 5 5600. I have the same motherboard (ASRock B550M Pro4, BIOS P2.20), same RAM, nothing else changed. Ever since the swap, Ableton's CPU meter is spiking way higher than before on projects that previously ran without any issues. I haven't touched my buffer size, sample rate, or any audio settings. I know the CPU meter isn't exactly a full representation of your CPU use, but it's causing my audio to cut out at times.

I'm very perplexed. Does anyone have any ideas why projects that ran fine beforehand would now be running terribly with a supposedly newer and better CPU?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

We’re mainly looking in Trolley Square, the Highlands, Cool Spring, Trinity, and the Triangle, but we’re open to other spots. Trying to keep it under $1500 if possible.
