Just updated my server to version 2026.05.05.58eae70 and had an issue where everything on the HexOS dash disappeared, no storage pools, no apps, nothing at all.

But my TrueNAS dash was working fine.

Turns out for some reason my local server IP had changed itself from 192.168.5.61 to 192.168.5.84

How this happened during the update? I have no clue. Was it something I did? probably. I just can't figure out what, as all I did was press the update button.

Anyway, the solution was to go into the HexOS app in the 'apps' section of the TrueNAS UI, then select edit, scroll down to 'container configuration' and find the variable for Local LAN IP and changed it to the new, working, IP Address.

It's now all back up and running like normal. Not sure if this was just a me thing, but it's worth a shot if anyone else has a similar issue.

(I'm not good at networking, I installed hexos for a reason lol, this is the advice of an idiot, take it with a mountain of salt, it's just what worked for me)

Needed to get a head start on this restoration, new discs and pads all round, as well as N/S/F and O/S/R shock absorbers as they were leaking fluid. (O/S/F and N/S/R had already been done by a previous owner it seems)

The interior trim was crumbling apart from age and wasn't original, or even the correct trim cutting for this car, so i replaced it with trim that was supposed to be in this car (thanks custom cars uk on eBay for the trim) and it made a world of difference. Just the seats to go and the interior wil be back up to par I think.

Next steps are to drive her a lot, give her a good clean and start on the suspension arm rust treatment! Need to learn how to sand blast for that one lol
