Trying to remember a scene/plotpoint
I was watching Hacks last night and I was thinking about other shows with woman comedians, and I remembered what I think was something that happened in Maisel but cannot figure it out. I remembered midge walking into a club/lounge/country club place and sitting down for a meeting that she thinks was a meeting but was actually someone who was trying to sleep with her and she had to push him off. I recall the colors teal, white and black being the primary colors. I think the couch was rounded and white. It was very swanky.
Any detail I said could be false because memory is fickle lol. Google is no help. It also could be hacks, red oaks, or GLOW, possibly but I really think it was Maisel. I just remember that the casting director was a creepy man and he was like attractive so you wouldn’t imagine he’d be a creep but he was.
