finished the cocoa butter yesterday after about a month/5 weeks of use - it was moisturising but too greasy for me, and if i sweated it would make my skin sticky so i’m not repurchasing. the curlsmith mask was okay, i suppose - i got it at TK Maxx but i think it’s really overpriced for such a small amount of product, not repurchasing (mainly because i have too many hair products to finish still). i’m trying to stop buying hair products unless they’re medicated ones

how do i use a silk cap?

title - i got a silk cap to wear at night to protect my wavy hair and make sure the pattern stays intact. i have long hair that goes till my shoulder blades, how do i put it all in the cap? do i put it in a bun or braid it or can i just put it on while the hair is loose inside? it’s more like a swimming cap that fits over the head, than a bonnet which has space inside. this is the cap, thank you in advance!

need help finding a tan olive friendly lipstick

i’m very new to makeup so i only own 3 lipsticks, but i can’t figure out whether they actually suit me. the first one is MAC over the taupe, the second one is revlon rumberry and the third one is Bobbi Brown neutral rose. i usually go for MLBB shades but i want to try bolder non MLBB colours like plum, terracotta and brown. do these actually suit me? if you have any brown skin friendly recommendations please let me know, i have neutral (?) tan olive skin

posting on behalf of my dad (64M), he's been taking it for around 2 years after his dad died. he's been having extremely vivid dreams and occasional severe nightmares on the medicine which leave him tired throughout the day. he was prescribed melatonin to help him sleep but that made his dreams worse, so he was told to stop taking it but he has a vivid dream every night and occasionally wakes up in the middle of the night after a nightmare. has anyone else experienced this? he's currently begging his doctor to take him off it

basically the title - i’ve tried a lot of different products and brands and i can’t find anything that really works for me. i have 2b-c hair which is dense but with fine strands so it’s prone to frizz and breakage.
i used to use cantu and shea moisture products as part of CGM but they were too heavy for my hair, and i tried as i am leave in conditioner but i hated the smell and it weighed my hair down too. i use the curlsmith deep conditioning hair mask every now and then as it was highly recommended but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on my hair. i’m using umberto giannini’s dreamy waves conditioner, mousse, anti-frizz spray and holding gel and my waves are defined at the beginning, but after i use a comb and brush to detangle my hair while it’s still damp, it loses all definition and becomes frizzy. i’m in an area with a lot of hard water FYI, so idk if it’s because of that, i also clarify my hair regularly and use medicated shampoo that i’ve been prescribed. please help!!

i’m not sure if i’m warm or cool olive but i think i’m olive as my skin has a greenish undertone to it in photos and in the sun, it’s also a bit grey. i thought it was hyperpigmentation at first, but now that i think about it, i’ve always looked like that. i prefer gold jewellery and that’s what i wear most of the time but i want to see what looks better on me. thank you!

19F, i’m a student and it’s rarely ever been this bad but i’ve been eating a lot of unhealthy food recently because i’ve had assignments and exams. i’m on psychiatric medication for anxiety/depression and they’ve never affected my GI tract like this so it def has to be unhealthy food. i’ve been straining today and it was quite painful but i still feel the need to go even if i think i’m done. this is the first time i’m going in 5 days, and i was really constipated that time last week too. how do i deal with the feeling of still needing to go even if nothing comes out and i’m still straining? i’ve been drinking prune juice today and i got some psyllium husk as well. lmk if you have any advice, thanks in advance

EDIT: i went and i think i’m better now!!! thanks to this sub for teaching me about prune juice
