I recently made a post here and to a few other meet people here genre subreddits with little success. Honestly? Maybe my person slipped through the cracks, because they sent a low effort message consisting of nothing except “Heyy” or “24M” or sent me their discord information with nothing else. While a low effort message isn’t necessarily the problem, it’s essentially impossible to respond to.

As we all know having that F in your title in any subreddit for meeting people automatically ensures 100+ message requests. If I receive a low effort message, I’m not ignoring it because I’m arrogant, it’s because there’s 200 other low effort message requests. If I replied to every single low effort message I’d be having 200+ micro chats all at once to determine basic compatibility, all through Reddits terribly made chat.

I still do my best going through every message request thoroughly even knowing nothing will come of 99% of them.

I know, I’m terrible for complaining about this when men don’t receive even a fraction of that many responses. I’m ready to be burned at the stake now, I accept my fate.

I remember even a year ago I could get an appointment through kaisers app within the same week or next day. For the last month or so whenever I try to schedule an appointment in the app for anything at all, the only appointments available are 2+ weeks or over a month away. I don’t have a pcp so it’s not because I have to wait for availability from a specific doctor. Will I have better luck calling to schedule an appointment or is Kaiser in GA just that booked?

Honestly I’d like to keep myself mostly anonymous due to my current career. Maybe that could change for the right person with time. I could talk about it a bit I suppose, although I’d rather not. I do have a discord and I prefer voice chatting to messaging. No high expectations just want to meet another lonely soul who aches for just one real and I mean truly real connection. Just be interested in holding a conversation, but also okay with existing together in silence sometimes. It’s nice to know someone is there with me. I don’t care about your looks, height, disabilities or anything of that sort. You should probably be able to speak English and understand a slight southern drawl.
