Hey everyone 👋 !! I’m coming to Maldives from Nepal 🇳🇵 on the 14th for work at the airport, and honestly I’m feeling both really excited and nervous at the same time. This is gonna be my first time ever leaving my country and my first time on foreign soil, so everything feels kinda unreal rn. I wanted to know how lyf actually iz there outside all the luxury resort stuff we mostly see online. How are local people generally? How do offices and work culture usually work there? Are Nepali workers treated well? Is it easy to adjust and make friends? Also what are some things I should avoid doing or know before arriving? I’d genuinely appreciate any advice or experiences from locals or foreigners already living there. Thnxx!!
