I recently found the word for it: Mornden - it’s that self-contained pajama universe two people share on a long weekend morning, letting the world wait while the hours slow to a crawl, even as they know it'll all eventually rush back in come Monday morning.

When I’m not trying to pause time, I’m usually building and making things. I run my own business - a choice made to have the freedom to shape my environment around my needs. I love the physical process of bringing bespoke designs to life.
What's my buzz, you say?
In my free time I tend to seek out anything that keeps my overactive mind stimulated, whether that's experimenting with sounds on synths, checking out exhibitions, going to gigs. Some that pop to mind - Deftones, Dopplereffekt, Anthony Rother, Mohammad Syfkhan, Richard Dawson, OXN, Bonnie Prince Billy, L.F.T. Jeff Mills, Rachael Lavelle. I’m equally at peace in the silence of a sauna as I am basking in the bass of a bangin soundsystem.
Currently 45, though I’m often told I have the metabolism and curiosity of someone ten years younger. I haven't quite decided if that’s a compliment or a glitch in the matrix. Maybe you can decide? Sure if we share enough morndens maybe time will eventually go backwards, I’ve seen crazier things happen! I value longevity, both in the things I build and how I treat my body. I'm into fitness and diet as tools for clarity, not as an obsession - I think of it as self-soothing after too many years of way too much craic.
What's your buzz?
I’m less interested in finding someone who fits a perfect checklist and more interested in someone who is simply, unapologetically themselves. I don’t expect you to have every answer or to have finished “the work”, I’m a big believer that we are all works in progress, constantly being reshaped by our experiences. I’m after a connection that feels unmasked, the kind where simply doing anything with your partner is fun, regardless of what it is.
I value a partner who is curious enough to look inward and brave enough to grow alongside someone else. We don’t need to share every interest, but I’d love to find a person who values authenticity above all else and wants to figure the rest out together as we go.
So fire me an auld DM there, more than happy to exchange photos as soon as we know we’ve plenty to chat about. I’m living in Dublin but not too fussed about location …
