Random voices from work phone
This is going to sound crazy.…
Three times in the last week, conversational voices suddenly come from GM issued cell phone, and quickly stop within a couple seconds.
I look over to where the voices come from, it’s always where my work phone is, and the lock screen has lit up.
I keep thinking it must be a podcast, video/voice advertisement from a web browser I left open, etc. each of the 3 times, I had none of these apps open, no Teams or Slack meetings open, or anything that would explain it. I then remember I never even use my work phone for any of these things. And they very quickly stop within seconds without me doing anything that would have stopped it.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Can’t help but feel like I am being surveilled, and they accidentally unmuted their mic 🕵️♀️
It’s always too quick to discern the words being spoken, but I’ve never heard anything that seemed relevant to whatever meeting/task I was involved in at the time.
