hi! need gift ideas for 23 year old female. Currently getting her PHD in earth science. very outdoorsy and “granola.” doesn’t care about fashion. vegetarian and won’t even kill a fly :)

she is my cousin but we aren’t very close and I want to surprise her because I know she isn’t expecting a gift from me. that’s why I’m not asking her what she wants for her birthday.

I always bring my own food to work but carrying glass containers in my bag on the subway/walk to work is too heavy for me. I end up using plastic containers and hearing my food up in them which I know it’s really bad for me. We don’t have a kitchen area at my job so I can’t leave dishes there to heat my food up on.

What is everyone putting their food in to bring to work that isn’t plastic but isn’t heavy like glass?
