Men who like being generous online, what makes that feel good?

Some men seem to genuinely enjoy sending gifts, money, or support to women online, even when there is no traditional relationship involved. For men who understand that dynamic, what is the appeal? Is it attention, fantasy, feeling needed, confidence, loneliness, or something else? not asking how to attract anyone. I’m asking about the mindset behind it from men who have experienced it or understand it.

I’m Not Lazy, The Economy Is Just Doing Crack

My full-time job right now is honestly just trying to survive creatively.

One minute I’m applying for professional jobs with 4 interview rounds and personality assessments for $23 an hour.
Next minute I’m signing up for DoorDash, Instacart, event gigs, brand ambassador jobs, and looking at Feet Finder like “these feet HAVE been through enough to qualify.”

Meanwhile where is my rich mysterious sugar daddy or silent pay pig that doesn’t want a relationship, doesn’t want to text all day, doesn’t want to ask “wyd,” and just sends money because he believes in women staying moisturized and mentally stable.

Because apparently in today’s economy women are expected to:
pay bills, heal trauma, drink water, maintain a career, go to therapy, stay positive, have good lighting, nice hair, clean nails, a skincare routine, emotional intelligence, and somehow still look “put together” while surviving on side quests and caffeine.

Like sir… I don’t even need luxury.
I’m trying to afford groceries, gas, a root touch-up, and the emotional support required to open LinkedIn.

And honestly the most offensive part is everybody pretending this is normal.

Half the population is one unexpected expense away from downloading a delivery app, selling feet pictures, or crying in a Target parking lot.

Anyway if anyone needs me I’ll be oscillating between “career woman” and “feral gig economy raccoon.”
