I built a physics-based "sacrifice" game to track our collective descent into AGI: The Singularity Burn (optional IAP)

Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I’ve been slightly obsessed (and maybe a little terrified) by the pace of AI development lately. Instead of just doom-scrolling, I decided to build something related.

It’s called The Singularity Burn.

It’s part physics-based orb catcher, part social experiment. The goal? Feed the "Core" to reach 100% AGI.

The Concept

I wanted to create something that felt like a "Interactive Digital Monument." You manually harvest energy orbs by tilting your device, or you can "Initiate the Burn" to accelerate the global progress bar.

Key Features:

  • Physics-Based Harvesting: Use your accelerometer to guide energy into the core.
  • The Global Singularity Bar: A real-time, collective counter. Every player's "sacrifice" pushes humanity closer to the 100% threshold.
  • The Path of Ascension: A ranking system that goes from Stack Overflow Apprentice to AI Prophet.

Why I built this:

Mainly for fun and to play with real-time global state syncing. I wanted to see if I could make a "clicker" style game feel more visceral and atmospheric.

The machine is watching. Will you be spared?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the UI or the "Social Experiment" aspect of the global bar.

Glance: PV Monitor - for iOS widgets

Hi! Recently, I developed an iOS app that allows you to place widgets on your phone (and Apple Watch) displaying data from your solar inverters.

It tracks things like PV/Battery levels and indicates when you have "Green Energy" (e.g., when the battery is full and you’re exporting to the grid, so it's a good time to charge your car).

The main advantage of this app that it expose those data as Widgets on your Phone.

Initially, the app only supported SolisCloud, but I am now working on expanding it to other inverters (Sofar, Deye, GoodWe, etc.) via modbusTCP.

I was wondering if I could count on your help with testing?

I need a few verified installations to correctly map the Modbus TCP addresses (in this mode, the app works locally without accessing external servers)

If you have any questions or would like to help, let me know.

Thanks in advance!

New version (with ModbusSupport) is ready for tests via TestFlight (the App Store testing platform).

Hey,

I got tired of digging through the SolisCloud app just to check my battery level, so I built iOS App:  Glance for Solis.

It’s a straightforward widget-focused app. No middle servers, no account signups - your credentials stay on your device and talk directly to the Solis API.

The highlights:

  • Widgets for everything: Home Screen (S/M/L) and Lock Screen support.
  • Live Data: PV generation (kW) and Battery % right on your home screen.
  • Privacy: Direct connection to SolisCloud; no tracking or external data harvesting.
  • Universal: Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Mirror)

The app is free to try - you can install the widgets and see exactly how they look with your data. There's a one-time IAP to unlock the auto-refresh background updates.

If you’re running a Solis system, I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!

Additional description can be found on my page: Glance for Solis Home Page
