What is the story with these tiny house neighborhoods
I’ve been seeing these from trains. And actually I’ve seen similar, but shittier ones in Latvia and Lithuania sometimes too. Are they just small affordable houses with little gardens? Some of them look like only one or two rooms . Do a lot of people still live here in these? Looks kind of idyllic from a communist perspective with all their little gardens modest accommodation and tight community lm guessing
Visiting auschwitz
I’m currently in Poland and was looking to visit Auschwitz in the next week. Turns out there are literally no spots available to reserve for solo touring it or group tours via the official website. Only the 20th has availability and only for Polish group tours. To be honest I wasn’t sure I wanted to go anyway, I just felt like I should. Not really down with hordes of tourists and the commercialization surrounding it with tours and all the scammy shit the tour companies have gotten caught doing in recent years that brought on this reservation system. But just a word of warning for anyone trying to visit make sure you plan it way in advance . It might be possible to reserve this with a private tour still, not sure if they just buy up a lot of spots and hold them or what
