Hi guys. I don't really know much about slugs, but I found this guy just completely still while walking my dog. It's nighttime here and usually they are perked up and moving.

I see this type of slug around all the time, and I know the colouration can vary. But the slime and colouration looks off to me other than the top part

I was wondering if someone poured something on it? Did a bit of research and I coated it with a small amount of water using a damp paper towel just in case. It moved a bit since I did that but it's still not "perked up" and active

Is there something wrong with it? And if so, anything else I could do?
