Rodecaster Duo / Virtual Driver - Windows Intermittently Disabling Virtual Devices
Before the 1.7.3 firmware and 1.0.4 virtual driver, I had 0 issues with my virtual devices. Once I updated to these versions about a month ago, Windows randomly disables my virtual devices and have to manually re-enable them in the sound settings.
I'm running an up-to-date Windows 11 24H2 PC, 9800X3D CPU, 5090 GPU, with 64GB DDR5 RAM and a Level1Techs Displayport KVM. I do not have sleep or hibernate enabled, just an auto screen lock after a certain time of inactivity.
Is anyone else having a similar issue here? Outside of the known mono audio bug, I don't see it listed.
I have done the following troubleshooting steps to no avail:
- Swapped USB cables
- Plugged USB cables directly into PC
- Reset Rodecaster Duo
- Repaired virtual driver
- Reinstalled virtual driver
- Started with a new "show" with new virtual device
