Had a dream about horchata flavored Coca Cola

In my dream it was called the “[Company I Work For] Necessity”. Don’t understand the correlation, but something about the flavor of coke with the cinnamon, vanilla extract, and rice really hit the spot. I could think of it as a horchata dirty soda. Might actually try this one. Used Mexican Coke for obvious reasons

Jeni’s Confetti Brownie Batter - Target Exclusive

Here is my review!

I’m not usually a big fan of Jeni’s flavors, so I felt like I was taking a chance blind buying a $10 pint of ice cream. It paid off! I love Salt & Straws Brownie Batter ice cream. This is a Cosmic Brownie take on that flavor. It tastes exactly like a Cosmic Brownie. My favorite guilty dessert is a slice of chocolate cake with rainbow sprinkles, and this hit the nail on that. I was surprised at how dark the ice cream was even knowing it was going to be dark chocolate. It is not a sharp or bitter dark chocolate, it seems more semi-sweet. The brownie pieces seem to be less like pieces and more just “smeared in” if that makes sense. I only had a couple bites to try, so maybe there will be pieces the farther down I get. 8/10 in my opinion and would repurchase! Wish this was a permanent flavor.

Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I (25F) have been working at a non profit org for almost 3 years. It was my first job after graduating college. I felt very lucky finding this job so soon out of college. I got my degree in Communications with a Minor in Art History. This non profit org is a museum. I started as a part time grant writer making $19 an hour (29.5 hours). I got a raise to $23 an hour. A year in, I got promoted to $26 an hour with an added role, which made my job a dual role of grant writing and programs officer, making me 40 hours a week. I live in a HCOL area (CA). I have been at the $26 an hour full time dual role for a year and a half now. I have not gotten a raise since then. When I took on this dual role I was told that it would be a max 10 hours just checking the program email every morning and helping with scheduling. As I’ve been doing the job, it has completely taken over my workflow and it takes up all my time. I am basically on call (hourly though) for the program aspect of the job, leaving very little time for the grants part. I took the promotion because I wanted to be full time. They keep adding new tasks and making me work events that are far away and doing things outside of my scope of work. When I was grant writing I was remote, and the dual role requires me to be in office two days a week. I have a disability, so I asked for accommodations to be able to work from home when I am having a flare up instead of taking a sick day because I can work from bed. They said no (I did the formal process and had my doctor specify that I needed it). This really made me feel down, since our mission is about accessibility. Also, when I first started working there when I was training in the office the supervisor would leave bags of trash on my desk. She quit about 3 months after I started and the trash bags stopped appearing. I am also the only woman of color in the office. So with the trash bags, and the lack of accommodation, I have felt very undervalued and burnt out. I dread going to the office. The dual role works with scheduling elderly volunteers and they are not the nicest and the front desk will chew me out if they’re not happy even when something is out of my control. I just want to know if I am being dramatic or not. I went on vacation for 8 days and thought I would feel better taking the break but I felt just as burnt out as I did before I left. I feel like I’m bad at my job or I’m asking for too much or being a hassle. I am in final rounds for senior manager positions and manager positions for grant writing so I know I am qualified, but I just wanted some input.

I was just thinking about Aunt Lydia and she’s one of the older people in Gilead, but I wonder is there a retirement age? What do they do with old people? Do they just kill them once they can’t work anymore?
