Been running Smokecraft on Traeger since launch — just added Pit Boss WiFi support via the Smoke IT integration. Same pattern as Traeger: sign in once, get live pit temp, setpoint control, and overnight APNS alerts if your pit drifts.

On TestFlight right now and need real Pit Boss users to validate before App Store submission. If you've got a WiFi-enabled Pit Boss and want early access, drop a comment or DM me.

App is free to try (3 cooks before Pro). No ads, no data selling.

I'm building Smokecraft. A BBQ orchestrator app that already supports Traeger, Pit Boss, Masterbuilt Gravity, and six probe brands. Weber Connect is the one I can't crack on my own.

Weber's Bluetooth protocol hasn't been publicly reverse-engineered. Other developers have hit the encrypted WebSocket layer and stopped. I'm not stopping - but I need data from real devices I don't own.

v1.5.1 on TestFlight has a BLE capture mode built in. You scan for your Weber, connect, copy the Bluetooth service/characteristic report, and email it to me. That's it. Five taps. Two minutes.

Once I have enough captures across SmokeFire EX4, EX6, Searwood 600/800, and Genesis Smart models, I'll roll out a working integration to the same TestFlight group. You'll be the first people to have it.

If you want to be part of the initiative, comment or DM, and I'll add you to TestFlight.

Smokecraft now supports Masterbuilt Gravity Series - 560, 800, and 1050 - via Bluetooth read-only monitoring. Pit temp feeds into phase coaching, overnight alerts via APNS if you drift while you sleep.

Gravity Series owners are exactly who I built this for; long overnight cooks where you genuinely need something watching the pit while you sleep.

TestFlight build is live now. Looking for Gravity 800 and 1050 testers specifically before App Store submission. Comment or DM.

Been running a Traeger for years and always found myself juggling the Traeger app, a separate thermometer app, and a weather tab during long cooks. Drove me crazy.

So I built Smokecraft, a BBQ cook orchestrator that pulls everything into one place. Traeger WiFi monitoring, MEATER probe integration via Bluetooth, real-time phase coaching (wrap, rest, pull timing), WeatherKit humidity advisories, and Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island so you never have to unlock your phone mid-cook.

Apple Watch companion with haptic phase alerts. Siri integration so you can ask what phase you're in without touching your phone. Real handy when your hands are covered in rub.

Just got App Store approval this morning after building this in my spare time. Would love feedback from real Traeger users - especially anyone running longer cooks like brisket or pork shoulder where the phase timing actually matters.

smokecraft.app | Free on the App Store.

Happy to answer any questions about how the Traeger integration works under the hood.
