I hate how dark scenes look on my Ultragear 27GR83Q-B monitor, what would be a reasonable upgrade in the same price range?

Originally I got a GIGABYTE M27Q Monitor and I REALLY liked it. I returned it due to a lot of dead pixels (common problem apparently). Then I got an LG Ultragear 27GR83Q-B since it had great reviews and was easy to find.

I immediately noticed the image wasn't as good as the Gigabyte but decided to keep it since it didn't have any dead pixels.

After several years with it I'm sick of it. Its very washed out and no amount of tinkering with the settings seems to fix it. The problem is that in any remotely dark scenes I have to squint and strain to see anything. EX: night or caves in the witcher 3 or the oblivion remake. Which are FAR from being actually dark.

I think the issue is a combination of horrific backlight bleed, and light being reflected off the screen despite it being a Matte finish.

I'm going to make a comment to this post where I'll share a picture where you can see just how washed out it looks compared to the cheap msi PRO MP275Q I have set up to work off of.The LG monitor is the one thats closer. Even though the focus is off I think you can clearly see how much more depth the cheapy monitor has.

I want to get a new monitor that doesn't have this problem, but I don't like how text is harder to read on OLED displays (plus you know, OLED is super expensive). I love the motion clarity on this monitor.
