Learning curve smaller body type

Hello, I’ve been cleared for less than a year and have struggled with power at a small size, I’m wondering if anyone can direct me to even footage of skaters who deal with this well? Maybe a famous derby team with a YouTube channel to follow?
I would say I am considered underweight and short, skating skills were never an issue for me, I’m just hitting a wall lately in developing past the “newly cleared” status and get my ass handed to me all of the time…

I currently work in phone sales in something very similar to property insurance, and am interviewing with a couple of local agencies that will reimburse me for my property and casualty license once hired, to begin after I obtain it.
I’m wondering if I should just get this license first before applying to agencies? I have some trips planned in the next 90 days, anyway, I would imagine I could start a new position much sooner? Is this normal to get licensure without a landed position yet?
Depending on how these interviews go, I could also go this route, but it seems not too many job openings offer conditional hiring to wait for you to get a license.
