I’m a 26F who never had braces. I had crooked teeth growing up and they sort of naturally (almost) straightened out as I got older. I didn’t really pay much attention to my teeth because they never really aesthetically bothered me, however, due to some recent stress, I think I have started developing TMJ and it’s made me a bit more aware of the possible issues with my teeth. From what I could research, I think I have overjet, overbite, some crowding, and possibly narrow palates. At this stage in my life, the thought of braces is just not practical for me. Would I be a good candidate for Invisalign? Is there anything I should know before seeing an ortho? Anyone with similar issues had success with Invisalign? And how long did it take?
