I have been sleeping on a setup with a tatami mat and shikifuton from the Futon Shop about a year. The problem is it has dipped in the middle and I am not sleeping well lately. I do fold it up regularly and sun it roughly once a week. I even went to look at mattresses today, and honestly they all seemed to suck for the price lol.

Anyway, I am thinking about ordering one from Futon Beds from Japan, but my two concerns are the futon shop thickness I have is 5 inches, so I am worried it won't be as fluffy. Also, if it dips in the middle after a year too it's a waste.

What do you guys think/recommend?
