Hey Englewood! Here’s an early May Community Round Up. 
We’ve got a lot of events coming up, different ways to get involved and a few things worth checking out:  

Englewood Magazine & Summer Rec Registration 

The Summer Edition of the Englewood Magazine is hitting mailboxes! It’s your go-to guide for everything happening in the city. 

  • Read it online here 
  • Copies are available at the Rec Center, Malley Rec Center and the Library

 

Summer registration for recreation activities, fitness classes and more opens Tuesday, May 12 for residents and Thursday, May 14 for everyone. Check out classes here! 

Town Halls & Open Houses 

  • Oxford Pedestrian Bridge Ribbon Cutting  May 13 | 4 p.m. | Oxford & Windemere  Join the City of Englewood for a ribbon cutting celebration of the new Oxford Pedestrian Bridge, a key investment in safer, more connected travel.  
  • Affordable Housing Month Open House  May 12 | 5-7 p.m. | Lady Justice Brewing (3242 S. Acoma)  Join us for a community conversation during Affordable Housing Month discussing challenges Englewood residents are facing when it comes to finding and keeping housing and what the city is doing to help. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with city staff, and share their input.

 

Board and Commission Vacancies 
Boards and commissions work closely with city council and staff to help shape recommendations that improve city services and quality of life for Englewood residents.
