I have spent time over the past few months learning about different nature based religions. I have not found one that completely resonates with me, and that’s okay. For those of you who might be in the same boat, here is a simple example of how we can describe our spiritual philosophy to others.

*“Having a naturalistic spiritual worldview means that I feel spiritually connected to nature, and recognise its sacredness. I am compelled to live my life in harmony with nature just as our ancestors did.”*

Consider this post an open forum for discussion for those of you who wish to learn about the beliefs of other nature worshippers.

Hey all,

I’ve seen the reading list, but I’m wondering if there are any audio resources for modern druidry? I work outdoors so I don’t really have time to read, although I still want to be occupied with something other than music.

Cheers.

I have a naturalistic worldview. I believe in the concept of a spirit or spiritual essence. I believe that living organisms, the Earth, Moon, Sun, Rivers, Mountains and Forests all have a spiritual essence.

I’m open to the existence of gods. I don’t subscribe to any in particular, but I am drawn to those of Swedhu (although I arrived to them independently—specifically Dheghom Mater).

I have gone from atheist, to pantheist, to panentheist. I am continuously exploring and can’t settle on anything.

Is there a non-specific pagan tradition? Not Hellenist, Not Wiccan, not Celtic, but just standard paganism?

Cheers.
