Yesterday woke up and my brain immediately went “Suffer does the wolf crawling to thee…”

Legit felt like one of those comments I had seen on TikTok 😭 Under a video about Ethel Cain fans not even giving their day a chance, someone said “Today I woke up and immediately turned on Ptolemaea”

Does your brain ever remember a random lyric when you wake up? Lol

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you….VengefulProjection!

So I wanna preface by saying that people have already been speculating about David’s memories potentially being imprinted/influencing CC (GodDavid and all of the shenanigans surrounding it). BUT, what I wanna do is take it to a step further.

What if there was a theory combining BVTOYSNHK and DavidTOYSNHK? Sounds crazy? Well, it sure kind of is lol

Thus I present you VengefulProjection!

VengefulProjection is the idea that David Murray imprinted his own experience and memories onto BV, convincing him that he was killed by William (even though he wasn’t and only died because of the Bite of 83). It’s basically the result of David’s and BV’s memories merging together/David projecting his own vengeance towards Afton in BV’s mind, convincing the latter that he is TOYSNHK (the one you should not have killed).

This would make William’s punishment even more dramatic as it’s basically his first victim turning his son against himself.

This theory could obviously only work if we assume that David was William’s first victim ever and that Cassidy is BV’s name + taking account A LOT of other stuff. It’s more so based on vibes than facts I guess. But I thought it was a pretty wild and interesting idea to share with you guys.

What do you guys think?

“Morley Grove” is one of the most terrifying depictions of SlenderMan in recent years

If you don’t know, Morley Grove is an analog horror series created by RemyAbode, the man behind Gemini Horror Entertainment (one of the most famous analog horror projects).

Morley Grove is essentially Remy’s own interpretation of Slenderman who in this project has the name of “Morley Man”. In the course of 6 videos we’re learning about disappearances in the town of Morley Grove, as well as seeing the strange phenomenon of “spectres” seemingly haunting pictures and trying to communicate (essentially some sort of ghosts of the victims).

The most creepy thing about this version of Slenderman by far is the fact that he doesn’t only kidnap people, he literally ERASES them from existence. Thus, the victims are overtime completely wiped out from photos, as if they never existed 😬
It’s so powerful that it can mess with all sorts of communication (deleting dashcam footage, altering phone calls).

Another interesting thing about it is that Slenderman may be seeking revenge on the town as in one of the videos we see that a significant amount of trees are getting cut off from the main forest, where it probably resides (you can see him in the first picture that’s from the video, he’s fricking huge).

Legit one of the scariest Slender man themed and analog horror projects I’ve seen in a while, it replicates the atmosphere of early internet horror and the 2000’s so well. The video “Morley Ghost” specifically scared the shit out of me lol

I recommend y’all to check it out! It’s quite short as I mentioned in the beginning, though possibly it will have more installments in the future, but as of now I doubt it since they all came out in 2022.

Jane references religion or God multiple times in her work (some examples that come to mind):

“Sick of religion, throwing elbows at the Marriott” (Census Designated)

“I swear to God, give me a reason to be out my mind” (Fling)

“Please God save me, I’m so turnt right now” (Dreamflasher)

“Think God became a part of you

Who cares? I'm just a robot to you” (Experimental Skin)

“Let the DJ save your life, bro, we cheated death again

Feel like Jesus in the mosh pit, Mary on the cross with her friends” (JRJRJR)

“Dear God, place a curse on those who wronged me” (Angels in camo)

“I saw God in your arms, I took him to sleep

And it's not much faith that I have, so I play it for keeps

Jesus don't like bitches, I was floating downstream” (Believe, probably the song that talks about faith in the most explicit manner)

It seems obvious that her relationship with faith is complex: on one hand, she describes herself as someone who’s not religious and even resentful towards it, but on the other hand, fragments of religious beliefs sometimes seep in the way she expresses her thoughts, often in the way of metaphors or allegories.

Do we know anything about her religious upbringing? Was Jane raised as a Christian? Or does she simply like to use Christian imagery as a metaphor?

Let me know your thoughts!
