Do items change as people are passing you?

Say you’re in 10th place, you hit an item box, as the item box is ‘spinning’ (before you see your item), if you get passed by several people and are now in 20th, would you still get 10th position items, or would it update and give you 20th position items?

Does Nintendo host official tournaments?

Are there, or will there likely ever be any Nintendo hosted tournaments?

Something that would be built into the game, where you’d register/join in the game (as opposed to something online/ 3rd party).

New to the franchise, and it seems like this would be a super popular thing that happens pretty frequently.

Thanks.

Does G2 support M&K on Xbox series X?

I saw somewhere that it did, then another that said it didn’t, then finally another that said it did for a bit but stopped working.

So, does it?!

Thank you

▲ 4 r/Switch

So I played BotW maybe 5-6 years ago and I fell in love. I mean probably top 3 favorite games of all time. I played Totk upon release, and haven’t touched either since.

After getting the Switch 2 I thought I’d enjoy replaying BotW.

So I paid the $10 for S2 upgrade, and the $20 for DLC’s. Launched the game and….it wasn’t the same. IDK, I’m only an hour in, but I’m worried it lost its magic.

One one hand I feel guilty about spending $30 if I’m not going to play. But on the other I’m worried I may not enjoy it.

Anyone think the spark can still come back? For me the game was built around the unknown and exploration. Well, I honestly don’t remember a whole lot about the game, certainly don’t remember where anything is, etc. So I’m thinking maybe there’s still a chance I can get back into it.

**Has anyone felt this way right after starting a game again, but stuck with it and eventually got sucked back in again?**

If so, why? If it’s considered a good item, then it’s reserved for the lower placed racers. But what good does a blue shell do me if I’m in 14th place?

There’s a few super small bands that released music back in like 2012-2016 that I want to buy the digital downloads for so I can rip it to cassette.

I’ve never bought music on here before, and I’m worried that since these bands aren’t a group anymore, and because it’s been 10+ years, that they might not get the money.

Artists- if my card is charged, does that mean the money would have had to of reached the artists? Or is it possible that I’ll be charged either way, and the money first goes to band camp direct, after which they distribute to the artists?

Any thoughts?

I’m new and trying to practice shortcuts and just get a feel for tracks in general.

In free roam, is there a way to always have access to triple mushroom items? I’d like to have them for shortcuts.

Also - might time trials be better for practicing? All I’m looking for is the ability to have mushrooms, and rewind, on any given track.

I thought it’s be helpful to setup a race vs a ghost (with the world record) so I could learn the shortcuts, but there wasn’t a rewind feature!

What’s my best option?

Thanks,

VR 5500 and hurting.
