Time and time again, I have come across the posts reflecting disappointment and frustration while using the matrimony sites, especially Shaadi.com (Especially for desis, talk to me about it 😭) and Muzz. And that made me wonder - How about we share the matrimony profiles separately or/and in the ISO's...however way it works because I'm sure people on Reddit are more inclined towards marriage as compared to people on matrimony platforms which has birthed bitterness towards the search.

I feel like we can discuss it more constructively - the pros, cons and everything.

Where are those good guys who get obsessed for their women?!!!!! The yearning, the neeeeeed, the softness, the careeeeeee. Oh my god!!!!! I hate the fact that nonchalant men are increasing day by day and wish to do nothing but behave like some silly sigma guy.

I wish we could have the old-school/novel type of men back 😭😭😭😭

I swear, there is something about men who are so driven, loyal, focused, fixated, softestestest like a giant teddy bear!!!!! I'm going off track but yeah you get the point. 🎀

Okay so when a potential asks me how religious I am - I just tell them moderately religious. Like idk how to frame it. For example - I never indulged myself in a haram relationship but I studied in an intermixed setting because my family background is that way. I do not cover myself up but I don't wear revealing clothes too. I talk to guys but I know what my boundaries are. I like learning more about Islam and practice the basics like Namaz, fasting, dhikr, not consuming interest etc. I have not tried to hifz Quran but I do try to by heart small verses as a part of my daily Adhkaar. I do listen to music whenever I feel like it, but I'm not addicted to that. I love being chirpy with everyone but never crossing a boundary of modesty.

I don't really know if there is a term for it or it is what it is.
