Carpenter ant help
Delete if not allowed….I’m desperate.
We’ve been getting carpenter ants coming in through this window fairly regularly. About 2 weeks ago, we were experiencing some swarmers coming in. Usually about 2-3 a day. The swarmers stopped coming, though other little guys kept on.
Had pest control come out and check to see if there were any obvious signs of a nest in the walls. They didn’t find anything and said they should stop in a couple of weeks.
Now to today: we literally had 3-4 swarmers in the house and 3 more are in the window in the last 2 hours. We’ve also noticed there are a ton in only one window. I went outside to see if there was any obvious trail. Only thing I noticed was what appeared to be a winged male at the top of the window outside.
Ant experts, where should we look to find the big nest? I’m so sick of cleaning up these guys and gals.
