Ive seen sooo many posts n comments hating on Mikasa it's crazy, n I'm trying to understand why. Is there a legitimate reason orr what.
Eg: I saw som1 say eren would rather fight a titan than kiss her at the end of s2 lik bru whaaa
Ok so i always thought tht erin liking Mikasa was sudden bc he literally never showed any signs of him liking Mikasa (except for the one time he blushed when tieing the scarf around mikasa), so when I learned tht he liked her back n wanted to be with her, the ending became a 1000x sadder n it broke my heart.
But I was reading posts of isayama saying tht acc to his own assessment, he kinda failed erin's character by not fully sticking to his plan of making him a real evil antagonist.
N also I read more posts that towards the end of aot erin n Mikasa were a superrrr popular thing in Japan.
N also writer's fatigue is a real thing where after a while they jus start hating their own work n try to end it quickly
So all of this combined I cannot help but wonder if isayama even intended for eren to like mikasa or did he jus do it to
Either:
Make eren not so evil or
Cuz eremika were trending(fanservice)
Basically acc to isayam's original idea, did he intend for eren to like mikasa?
Also isayama also said that he is not a good romance writer so did he intend for eren to like mikasa from the very beginning but. Since he's not so good in writing romance he fucked up a little bit by not developing eren's feelings being reciprocated properly which is y many ppl conclude tht eren never liked Mikasa n isayayama jus gave into the pressure
