I’m transferring to UF for Aerospace Engineering in the Fall from cc and I also received a really good internship offer in Washington. Does anyone know if I can do my first semester completely online?
I’m planning on applying for the DOE CCI Internship for Spring 2027. Initially, I was planning on transferring to a four year uni during this term because I will be done with all of my credits. Will I still be allowed to do the internship if accepted to both or should I apply to my four year uni a semester later?
Does anyone know if the MAE department needs lab volunteers for the summer. I’m transferring from a cc so my skill set is limited, but I would really like to gain experience with working in a lab! I’m planning on emailing in the areas that I’m interested in, however i’m unsure I would even get a response.
Hi! Does anyone know if the uf transfer app has a section for extenuating circumstances? I didn’t see an option on the transfer app website. I was nearly paralyzed this sem and ended with a B in a non pre req (chm1025) class and a drop w refund in another. I’m only asking this because I’m trying to transfer into aerospace engineering and I know it can be super competitive w 22 seats annually.
Context: Was in a car crash and could not walk + loss of transportation. Had to withdraw from phy2048 bc I was concussed and couldn’t make it to my first exam. I have a 3.88 GPA and 3.85 CT.

I’ve been wearing these eyeglasses since seventh grade and I’m now a freshman in college. My optician stopped carrying these glasses and the last time I was able to find them was 2024🥲. I found them online and called and they said that they only sold it wholesale. I asked for a list of retailers that sell them and still have not heard back 🥲.
I’m asian and have a difficult time finding glasses that fit my nose but I really like the way these fit my face. If your optician sells these or you could help me find a retailer that sells these, please reach out!!!
