This Week in Harrow
Morning neighbours,
Pinner has a local brag this week: Mouse & Grape on Marsh Road has been named Best Cheesemongers 2026 by the Farm Shop & Deli Show, plus Highly Commended in the New Retailer category. That's a national award. Worth walking past and seeing what the fuss is about.
Also: voter registration closes tomorrow (Monday 20 April, 11:59pm) and postal vote applications close Tuesday 21 April at 5pm. If you're not registered or don't have photo ID sorted, five minutes today beats a regret on Thursday 7 May.
For the week ahead: Tube strikes Tuesday to Friday - check TfL status before you leave. If you're commuting, give yourself extra time.
On the lighter side: Sound Bath at Pinner Village Hall on Saturday evening is the pick this week if you want something different from the quiz circuit. Calms mind and body, apparently.
Full issue with quiz nights, kids activities, the new mum and baby circle, and the local networking brunch:

Pet of the Week this week is Nellie, a dog who stands on her hind legs and wiggles with excitement when she meets someone new. Exactly the energy we need on a Sunday morning.
Every month one subscriber wins a £10 M&S gift card. Two seconds to subscribe and you're in.
