Extending WiFi for security camera without trenching

I need something that will work to extend WiFi about 150’, straight line with no obstructions outside the house (3 interior stud walls) for 1 security camera and 1 automatic chicken coop door. I do have a shed with power nearby, but trenching is not an option right now. Next year I will be trenching to extend plumbing and electricity, but now it’s not an option.

Given I only need these two items to connect, what are my options? Is a WiFi extender worth it nowadays if I dedicate it to only these two uses? Should I run a cat 6 from my router, through my crawl space, and to an outdoor access point like the TP Link EAP225?

Thinking about Omlet stuff? Think again.

Nothing about their “smart” products work. I am on my 3rd “smart panel” from them. Each one just malfunctions for no reason. And no explanation from their basically non existent customer service. This most recent video shows their “smart light” which is more akin to a haunted house than a safe place for my chickens. Every day and night I’m wondering if the door is closed or opened when it’s supposed to, it’s so much more stressful that just doing to myself. I’ve literally given them 4 chances to make it right and every smart panel is utter garbage. For the record, it doesn’t work on either battery or plug in power. It’s all garbage.

Best method for anchoring patio cover posts?

I’m wanting to build a 12’x14’ patio cover over my deck, attached to the house with a ledger board, 2x6 roof joists, 6x6 posts and using polycarbonate panels for the roof. SEUSA, with no snow load. I’m receiving mixed recommendations for anchoring y 3 6x6 posts. I just received a quote and they wanted to use Camo post supports, but I’m not sure that sounds structurally right. I was planning on doing 3 sonotubes with cast in place Simpson hardware. Is that overkill? Is there another method I should explore?
