Price check sanity - am I insane or is it just gas prices?
I’ve got a 1998 c1500 with the 350 v8, recently rebuilt transmission. Paint matched bed cover, front and rear hitch receivers, been very well maintained, aftermarket air intake, passes CA smog. Zero rust it’s been a California truck its whole life.
242k miles, some surface rust, and needs new door hinge pins. It’s been a great truck and I love it. Never once left me stranded or even gotten a flat tire on me.
I’ve done all the fluids in the last few months to prep for the sale & make sure it’s running perfect on any test drives.
I’m asking $4,000 but getting zero hits. Is this truck really not worth even that anymore? I thought I’d be able to get 5 for it but looked online and there are trucks 10 years newer with 20k less miles going for 5. I’m sure those have hidden issues but mine is mint.
Should I expect lower, or expect no offers now because of the gas prices?
