Can obdeleven be used or any other options to give this asterisk button more functionality other than the default options? If you could set this button to anything what would you make it?

Thinking about removing these little fender guards. They seem to catch a lot of stones that just sit between the paint and guard. Don’t want to have these little pebbles damage the paint. Any thoughts, they do protect against stones coming off the tires though.
