I have 2 phones on TracFone (been with TF for years). How should I go about getting these 2 phones' numbers switched (swapped)? Do the existing plans go with the phone number or does the plan stay with the IMEI?
I bought from Motorola on release date and got it May 5. It is fast. It is locked to T-Mobile and I don't know if it will ever get unlocked. First problem I discovered is it isn't a phone. But it does require a T-MOBILE sim card which allows online access when WiFi isn't available. I installed the Google Phone app but it doesn't work. Also, when you get T-Mobile to install their sim card it will install about a dozen games which I uninstalled. For me it's a keeper! $249 + tax, free ship.
Back in 2022 I bought an unlocked Moto Stylus and just moved the sim from my old Asus to it. Number and service moved to the Stylus without any problems. Well now I got a Moto Pad coming to replace the Stylus and I think that process will not work. Will I need a new sim card kit for the pad? And how should I complete the service transfer? On the website or call in? Thanks for any help. Well, nevermind. Got my new Moto Pad and it is locked to T-Mobile. 😞 I thought I read it was unlocked in the ad. Anyone know what the lock period might be?
