A moment of silence for the fallen heroes whose gear we find at estate sales 🙏.
I consider myself an audiophile on a budget like I'm sure many on here do. So when I found my Klipsch Forte II's at an estate sale for under $100 it shot me up to a level I never thought I could get to.
I often think about how grateful I am for these. I could NOT responsibly afford anything as good as this under any other circumstance.
I was telling my wife I hope somehow, somewhere, whichever old man passed away for this to be possible, knows his speakers are in a good home and being used daily.
Of course I don't think that's gonna happen, so I came here...to honor him, the cosmic coincidence of me being the one that snatched them up, and any other fallen audiophile whose equipment has brought happiness to us audiophiles that could not afford it otherwise. 🙏
