Sorry had to repost this, screwed up the first attempt.
Single speed conversion. The frame looks big, it’s just the 23” frame with Grant Petersen’s geometry. I think the long head tube makes it look big. I’m 5’ 11 1/2” and a 32” inseam and it fits perfectly.
Help me xbiking folks.
Yesterday I dropped off a bunch of odds and ends at the local bicycle collective.
Naturally I perused the stock of bicycles on hand.
I’ve wanted a Bridgestone MB for a long time.
Behold.
There was no way this 1986 MB-2 single speed conversion was not coming home with me.
I can’t decide: leave it as-is?
Swap the flat bars with this Velo-Orange Tourist?
Swap the Michelin XC Road with these Sim Works The Homage 26”?
Do Both?
Neither?
Please help! I’m got Bridgestone overload. Instead of sleeping last night, I read all the stuff on Sheldon’s website about Bridgestone. I’m 50/50 on change or leave it as is.
Or yet another idea?
