ive been having a lot of issues w/ diarrhea for over six months. it's also as if i have the diarrhea and loose stoolsb and i still have more to poop out but wont all come out? it's frustrating. it burns so bad and hurts coming out. other times, i have firm BMs but are so small like cocoa puffs size. once in awhile, when i wipe i see a little bright red blood on the toilet paper. ive experienced abdominal pain off and on, and if i have diarrhea, the abominal pain does not go away after i have the diarrhea. i started having symptoms of C. diff on monday, 4/20/2026 after eating take out but didnt even know C. diff existed until my diagnosis that friday, 4/25/2026. i hadnt been on any antibiotics or been in the hospital for about six months or more. i saw a GI for the first time tuesday, 4/21/2026 for GI and bowel issues. the GI ordered an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and stool sample. the symptoms of C. diff stopped on thursday, 4/24/2026. i officially got diagnosed w/ C. diff on friday, 4/25/2026. i started fidaxomicin 200mg on saturday, 4/26/2026 to be taken twice a day for ten days. i started having symptoms again thursday, 4/30/2026. by saturday, may 2nd (day 7/10 of antibiotics), the symptoms became even worse. i went to the walk-in clinic at my PCP's office. i was put on omeprazole 40mg once daily and was also given dicyclomine 20mg three times a day as needed. the omeprazole helped the abominal pain go away for a short period of time. sunday night, 5/3/2026, i started having new symptoms: headache, nausea, light-headedness, dizziness, hot flashes, dry mouth. i had been drinking water all day, everyday. about two water bottles an hour. i msged the dr in the portal that i saw on saturday, 5/2/2026 at the walk-in clinic when she asked how i was doing. i told her my new symptoms, and she told me to follow up w/ my PCP if they got worse. the next day, monday, 5/4/2026, my symptoms began to worsen. my abdominal pain was gone tho. i reported this to my PCP's office. my PCP told me to go to the ER and get some tests done, one of them being a CT scan. the ER dr refused to do a CT scan bc i was not experiencing abdominal pain at that time. we went back and forth, and he would not budge on it. he only ordered a blood test and urine test. both came back normal, and he said i was just having anxiety. after i left the ER, i got the stool results back from saturday, 5/2/2026, and they came back negative for C. diff. the antibiotics ended that day, monday, 5/4/2026. the next night, tuesday, 5/5/2026, i started experiencing abdominal pain again. it is now thursday, 5/7/2026, and i am still having abdominal pain but is getting worse. i took dicyclomine 20 mg 6 1/2 hours ago, and my abdominal pain is getting even worse. i now have a headache, hot flashes, and feelings of dizziness, dry mouth, and nausea. i can barely move. i tried to drink water, but i cant even do that w/o feeling like im going to throw up. i tried to msg my PCP in the portal an hour ago, but i havent gotten an answer. i dont think she will answer bc it is 8:30PM. im thinking about going to the ER. im not sure if i can wait until tmr morn to call in for an appt and risk not even being seen tmr and have to go to the walk-in clinic on saturday. my dr told me in my follow up that she thinks i may have inflammation of the colon or toxic megacolon 😔

my mom just told me today that my dad had ulcerative colitis, and i think my maternal uncle had colon cancer. i just asked my maternal uncle's wife if he indeed had colon cancer. im just trying to learn my family's history of colon issues bc maybe they're hereditary? no idea. im not a dr and have been in such confusion since getting diagnosed w/ C. diff. it has messed up my whole mental state

i feel like the ER is not taking me seriously. they will NOT do a CT scan even tho my dr said i need to come here to get one bc of my symptoms. he said he is only going to do a blood test and urine test. wtf do i do to make him do a CT scan? i literally told him my dr wants it done, but he said, "well, your dr can order that!" bro, today is my last day of antibiotics. i need to know if i still have C diff or if smth else is going on! i already have had GI and stomach issues prior to C diff. he didnt even wash his hands after he took my pulse and stuff. also, the nurse was annoyed when i told her i needed someone to clean the bathroom w/ germicidal wipes after i use it.

this shit sucks. why dont medical professionals understand C diff? i tried to tell him what antibiotic i was on, and i asked him how to properly say it. he said he didnt know how to. some fuckin ER doctor
