Need honest advice!
My kids will be about 20 months apart, and I’m trying to decide what to do about sleep. I’d prefer not to buy a second crib, so I’m considering moving the crib to the new baby and transitioning my toddler to a floor/full size bed a bit earlier than planned.
She currently sleeps really well (12 hrs overnight + 2 hr nap), which is why I’m hesitant to change anything.
Plan would be to fully baby proof her room and treat it like a safe sleep space, but I’m expecting some adjustment with her getting out of bed, etc.
On the other hand, being pregnant, not having to lift her in/out of a crib sounds a lot easier, and I like the idea of being able to sit/lay with her for bedtime.
For those who’ve done this, did it go smoothly, or did it disrupt sleep a lot? Would you do it again, or just stick with the crib as long as possible?
Thanks for your responses in advance!!!
