Automa: Convince me it’s fun

I’m a Wingspan fanatic. When I play solo, I usually just play multiplayer mode against bots on the app. I’ve always been interested in Automa since it’s specifically designed for solo play, but honestly… I find it really confusing and hard to get into.

The cards, symbols, mechanics, and flow all feel unnecessarily complicated to me — even with ChatGPT helping explain things. And so far, I’m not seeing what makes it more fun or rewarding than just playing against bots.

Am I missing something? Can anyone convince me it’s worth investing the time to learn?
