ASUS router died today..time to just use the at&t one?

Hello. I've had a second router behind the at&t one in pass through the entire time I've had fiber. Current one is an ASUS and today it crapped out...no power, could be the power cord, could be the router. I've reconfigured the at&t one to the same ssid, password, ip and dhcp range as the asus one, and devices are back online with no changes to them, so crisis averted.

Is now the time to abandon the pass through and second router and just go with the at&t one? I like that the secondary router (asus, netgear, etc) have mobile apps and more detailed confgurability, but at the end of the day, I don't use that stuff much. Even the teen has gotten older so we've stopped using the time limits in the asus configs for his xbox.

What do you think...at&t modem only or buy another secondary router?

Artery embolization procedure done - shoulder (knee)

Hello. I had my first of four procedures done on Wednesday...shoulder. Up next in two weeks is knee, then knee two weeks later, then shoulder two weeks later. I can't comment much on the effectiveness yet...too early, but I can share my experience with the procedure.

Prep time ~45m. Procedure 1.5h. Recovery 1.5h. I was told the recovery for the shoulder is longer than the knee due to the wrist artery needing longer sustained pressure to clot than the ankle artery. Twilight sedation (versed and fentanyl), and I was awake, could hear what they were saying about what they were seeing and doing, and even asked and answered some questions. Slight pressure discomfort when the embolic agent (antibiotic mixture...not as permanent but fewer complications than beads) was being injected, but not bad at all.

Had to be driven home and no lifting 5+ lbs or pressing/pulling/weight support with that arm for three days. Could drive the day after the procedure.

Still trying to gauge the effectiveness but it is only day 2 of a long 1-3 year expected relief period. The arm and shoulder feel fine...not better, not worse. I have high hopes and high expectations. I will be working on strength and stability on all four embolized joints. I really really really want to avoid total replacements x4. :-)

Found this video the other day showing the procedure. https://youtu.be/nZ-VXX1c6C8?si=EjmEb3U8sEAd3e9r
