A couple pics of a Northern Paper Wasp (Polistes fuscatus) I took in Rhode Island last year. Up there as some of my favorite phone pics I've taken.
These pics were taken at the Succotash Marsh in South Kingston, Rhode Island. I'm primarily a birder, but I do love observing all kinds of nature. Fell in love with Northern Paper Wasps last year after having a few simply fly near me, piquing my interest in them.
Idk why I haven't posted these pics here earlier. I guess I just forgot, oopsies.
