Was Michael ever asked directly about alleged abuse?
This might be a dumb question, but Michael always repeated he was innocent and he would never hurt a child. That he loved children. And I believe that he truly believed that to be true.
After reading the Post article that Michael was abused as a child (which I had assumed but it was enlightening nonetheless), it made me realize that he was doing what he had been taught. And as a result, I truly believe he thought what he was doing was expressing love -- natural, normal, innocent and not harmful to children.
So my question is: was Michael ever asked directly -- not just did you molest children (because he would probably not consider what he did to be that) and not, did you have inappropriate relations with children (because again, he wouldn't think he did) but -- have you ever touched the private areas of the the children in your bed or have they touched yours? Was he ever asked directly? I'm assuming in deposition?
On a similar note, I know Macaulay Culkin has been asked if Michael ever touched him and he's repeatedly said no and defended him, but has he said anything about whether he believes James and Wade (and even Jordan or Gavin)? Like has he accused them of lying or just said it didn't happen to him and spoke highly of his friend? Has anyone thought to ask Macaulay why he thinks Michael never touched him, but touched other boys?
