Do people actually like these super limited collabs?
Feeling bummed after missing out on the Kith BW army shoes both in the raffle and during the general release. This is after I took an L on the recent Patta Air Max 1s (ended up paying resale on impulse which was probably dumb).
I don’t tend to go for collabs generally, but those two in particular were shoes I really liked and wanted badly. I just don’t get why they need to be this limited? Like I had both shoes in my basket on the dot of the release time but they ended up being removed before I got to pay.
Do people actually like this “exclusivity” collabs have? I understand some exclusivity but at least let them be available for more than a few minutes on release 😂.
The recent Hartcopy Bw Army shoes which I managed to cop were done pretty well. Multiple raffles and releases and have been a few restocks too without them selling out immediately after they released. Still some exclusivity but not completely inaccessible.
I just feel frustrated because I don’t care about hype, I go for shoes that I like and those two collabs were shoes I really liked yet I barely got a chance to get either. I’m holding out hope that resale on the Kith BW armies isn’t too high but not holding my breath. Really don’t wanna overpay again like I did for the Pattas. Gonna try and visit the London store on the weekend and see if I have any luck but again not holding my breath.
