Is this blinking power indicator normal?
This is my first build and followed the manuals to the best of my ability but I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's meant to stay on.

If I build my pc on a wooden table with my feet bare and touching a yoga mat, would that help prevent ESD?
I ask because our home doesn't have grounding (part of the reason for switching to a desktop PC is I'm getting electrocuted on the metal parts of my laptop while typing).
One of the most famous tips I can see is an anti-static wrist strap clipped to a plugged in PSU. But the principle there is that the home needs to be grounded in the first place to work. Ours isn't grounded.
