Speculative fiction with sci-fi elements and a sense of dread

The “weirder“ the world the story takes place in, the better, and I’m looking for a feeling of growing horror that is never too in your face.

60s surrealist/medieval aesthetics

Most photos from Apple Boutique clothing!

Please don’t recommend the Love Witch. I already love it.

Movies that are full of hope, especially with a character healing

The photos not be the best but it was hard to find something that fit what I wanted, which is something that doesn’t try to to glamorize life too much while still looking at it through a relentlessly hopeful lens. :)

I just want a cute romance that’ll make me smile and kick my feet

I’m open to basically anything as long as there is a happy ending with the main couple ending up together. I’d prefer contemporary romance, but genre ones are fine.

What’s a book/movie/show that would have been better if it was WLW?

This could either be if two characters had so much chemistry and didn’t get together or a M/F relationship that you think would be really cute as an F/F relationship. It’s something I love thinking about, so if you have any examples that’s really cool.

Edit: all is a totally valid answer

I’ve been loving reading sapphic books of any genre recently, so I want to know your favorites that aren’t talked about as much but are still really good. I’m not picky :)

It’s been a while since I’ve really been into a particular ship, but hearing others talk about their favorites always sparks or reignites my interest in them. Thanks!
